News and Events

	Events over the last couple of months included performing in the Clarence Jazz Festival and participation in the "Festival of Voices" in July 2007, a truly fantastic week of performances and workshops of many styles of group singing, from classical chorale to gospel and barbershop...a real feast for any singers who were in Hobart at this time.
	The Chorus enjoyed yet another successful show at the Playhouse Theatre-From Flappers to Flower Power! Lots of fun, fabulous costumes from Charleston shifts to fluoro seventies- and a whole new experience of "choreo"!

The exciting news of course is that the next Region 34 Sweet Adelines Convention

will be held in HOBART from May 1st -4th 2008

at the Wrest Point Casino

a spectacular setting on the banks of the River Derwent -
